Spiers Meadow is a greenfield site in Hampshire that will provide 450 new homes in total, including 180 affordable units. Construction began in September 2015, with completion anticipated to be December 2020.
This David Wilson Homes development is located in Popley, north of Basingstoke, close to the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Beauty. It has a mix of two to four bedroom houses and apartments and was designed to reflect the local character through both the architecture and landscaping.
The site’s design includes extensive public open space and a play area, as well as allotments for residents. Due to the scale of this new community, electric vehicles are being used to provide an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective way of showing prospective buyers around the site.
