Norton Farm is a dual-branded, award-winning development in Worcestershire, providing 316 new homes and a trial site for large format block and pre-fabricated garages.
Norton Farm is a dual-branded development, with both Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes operating sales outlets. It is situated just north of Bromsgrove market town and railway station, providing close transport links to London, Cardiff and Birmingham.
Formerly greenfield agricultural land, the site was allocated in the Bromsgrove Local Plan as one of three identified ‘expansion sites’ in the town.
In addition to 316 new homes, 40% of which are affordable, the site will provide over 16 acres of public open space as well as S106 contributions exceeding £1.7m. This will fund enhancements to the local bus service, the installation of a new pedestrian crossing and additional school places for children.
We continue to develop, trial and implement modern methods of construction (MMC) in order to address the current skills crisis within the construction industry, and Norton Farm is a trial site for both large format block and pre-fabricated garages - over half of the total units utilise large format block.
The quality of the development is very high, with it having won an NHBC Quality Award for two consecutive years.
