The award-winning Hollygate Park is a regeneration scheme, located on a former colliery site.
The 34-acre Hollygate Park site had stood derelict since Cotgrave colliery closed in the early 1990s. This major regeneration project, where we are working with the HCA and Rushcliffe Borough Council, will create a sustainable new community and will bring much needed new homes, jobs and investment to the local area.
We were selected by the HCA as preferred developer in 2012. Construction work on the new homes started in December 2014 and the build programme is expected to be complete in 2020. The development is dual-branded with both Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes operating sales outlets.
The £100m scheme will provide 470 homes in total, including 141 affordable, and all will achieve Lifetime Homes standard. It will also feature extensive green spaces, allotments, orchards and play areas. Cotgrave, five miles from Nottingham city centre, is well-located for commuting, and also sits next to the picturesque Grantham Canal.
