Overview

Montague Park is a dual-branded, award-winning development, with the land sourced from our strategic landbank.

Montague Park, a Greenfield site in a sought-after location, was purchased from two private vendors under historic option agreements, with the first option signed in 1996 and the second in 2000. The site was then promoted through the planning system and was granted full consent in 2013.

Montague Park will provide 620 new homes, including 140 affordable. The development is dual-branded with both Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes operating sales outlets. Following a hugely successful sales launch, our first residents moved in during June 2014.

The site is conveniently located in Wokingham, which has been rated as one of the best places to live in the UK. Residents will benefit from a new neighbourhood centre, a primary school with multi-use games area and 30-acre Country Park, while pedestrian, cycle and bus routes will link the development to the town centre.

Montague Park was one of the first developments in the country to be awarded a coveted ‘Built for Life’ award, recognition for well-designed new communities.
